Kent is fortunate to share a border with Essex along the estuary of the River Thames. It connected to fair Essex by land via High Speed 1 and the Dartford Crossing.
Kent is also coupled with France through the Channel Tunnel. France is only 21 miles away from Kent. Scary thought.
It is one of the warmest parts of Britain. So many people often come to England via Kent. Then discover other parts of England that are not so warm.
The county has over 50 castles, several rivers, its natural history and countryside is arguably in great shape, versus the rest of England. And importantly Kent’s the Bluewater shopping centre at Greenhithe is the UK largest shopping mall.
